The Asia-Pacific Association for Gynaecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE) represents over 15 associations in the gynaecologic field worldwide.

APAGE provides various scientific and educational activities for doctors.

The APAGE Annual Congress is the largest gynaecological endoscopy meeting in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Chennai Conference is the 24th Edition of This Congress

About Us

The Asia-Pacific Association for Gynaecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE) was officially formed in 2003 by a group of committed endoscopists from the region (Chyi-Long Lee, Bao-Liang Lin, Pong Mo Yuen, Lee Keen Whye, Joo-Hyun Nam, Felix Wong, C.Y. Liu, Prashant Mangeshikar), who recognize the need to share research achievements and further professional training in gynaecological endoscopy.

Over the past 21 years, APAGE has gathered experts and put together several inspiring programs to provide a platform for gynaecologists who desired to enhance their surgical skills and knowledge.

Gynaecologic endoscopy and minimally invasive therapy are a field that has developed fast and always has the newest technologies and equipment. Laparoscopic gynaecologic surgery has gained popularity due to developments in vision and instrumentation that led to the emergence of this field in the past decade as a credible alternative.

APAGE is honoured to share some of the responsibilities to make contributions to both the medical field and the public. The progress is Continuous, and we welcome everyone to join us, to make APAGE an acknowledged association.

Greetings from APAGE Chairman

Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Friends,

It is my great pleasure and anticipation that I extend a warm welcome to each of you for the 2024 APAGE Annual Congress in the vibrant city of Chennai, India. I hope this rich cultural tapestry and intellectual charm of Chennai brings an enchanting experience for you.

The reason why APAGE is important is that there are many insights in both innovation and research. For example, the development of VNOTES and the guidance of the MITOR study have awakened the sympathetic response of physicians like the morning bell and evening drum. This is all thanks to the APAGE members' and faculty's hard work.

In the past year, APAGE held many physical hands-on workshops related to Single-port, NOTES, Reproductive, and Endometriosis. Not only on-site events but also several webinars in cooperation with hospitals and universities in China, Thailand, Malaysia and societies around the world. The feedback we received from audiences were always encouraging and positive.

The Annual Congress will provide the ideal platform to stimulate ideas and exchange knowledge. There will be hands-on Workshops, keynote lectures, and live surgery demonstrations. The topics of the Annual Congress reflect the current trends, new approaches, and latest researches in the field of gynecologic minimally invasive or non-invasive therapy, which we believe will be fruitful to the participants.

Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, is a vibrant city of history, culture, and natural splendor. Known for its magnificent beaches, Marina Beach stands as a testament to Chennai's coastal beauty. Stretching along the Bay of Bengal, it's one of the longest urban beaches globally, offering breathtaking sunsets and a serene escape from the city bustle. In addition, The Taj Mahal, an iconic symbol of love and architectural mastery, stands tall in Agra and is also one of the must-see places when visiting India during conference.

We believe that the participants will obtain significant new insights in minimally invasive and non-invasive surgery by sharing and exchanging ideas with friends worldwide.

Welcome to Chennai, India!
